One good weekend, and you were in it.

We asked for one thing this year, a weekend with our favorite people, and you showed up for it.

Some of you bent over a roadside for an hour on a Saturday morning. Some of you packed birthday bags with the kids. Some of you drove or flew a long way, and some of you just came over and stayed late. Every bit of it counted, and we noticed all of it.

Thank you for being in our lives. Our life is a good one, and you're a big part of why.

How it went

Sat morning
The cleanup.
There's a road near our house that never really gets cleaned up, so we went and cleaned it up.
Sat evening
The party.
That evening we had everyone over, and the kids packed the birthday bags.
Sun afternoon
The concert.
Resolution sang its fall concert at Allisonville Christian Church, and the weekend ended with music.

Thank you to Carmel Citizens for a Cleaner City for running the cleanup, and to the Carmel Department of Streets for giving up a Saturday to haul it all away. Thank you to the Merciful HELP Center for the work they do for families in Carmel.

And instead of gifts, we asked you to stand with Reach for Youth, which puts counselors in front of kids and families who are struggling and has never turned a family away because it couldn't pay. Some of you already have. If you'd still like to, they'd be glad to hear from you.
